Dexta Rapper has dismissed claims that his split from Mzee Kawato was caused by the two allegedly dating the same woman.
The duo—famous worldwide for their electrifying “Inna wa wa wa” waist-whining dance routine—had become a viral sensation, performing across countries and captivating audiences with their father-and-son chemistry. However, the pair recently hit an unexpected rough patch and now appear separately wherever each manages to book a performance.
Speaking in a recent interview, Dexta Rapper made it clear that rumours linking their separation to a woman are completely untrue.
“It’s not about money, and it’s definitely not about a woman. That’s impossible. Those claims are false. Like everyone else, we face challenges—life happens,” he said.
The singer, who did not reveal the exact cause of their split, explained that they faced personal challenges and eventually chose to pursue separate paths.
