The nationwide journey that captivated Gulu, Masaka, and Arua reached its climax on Saturday as Bell ObaFest 2025 descended upon the Millennium Park at Lugogo. Defying slight early threats of rain, crowds flocked through the afternoon, in collective anticipation of a day of flavour and enjoyment led by the Bell Citrus and Honey flavours.

On receiving a complimentary coupon for either of the Bell Flavors, the experience invited exploration and connection at every turn with gaming stations and interactive setups ranging from the beer topia, minigolf courses to life-size chessboards dotted across the grounds. One corner was dedicated to the responsible drinking lounge, offering a free water hub and refined space for responsible drinking awareness, made fun with games and goodies for lucky winners.

True to its promise, the festival was a paradise for flavor enthusiasts and deal-hunters. The popular 3 for 10k flavour buckets were made even sweeter during the FlexiPay Happy Hours, where prices were slashed to an incredible 3 for 5k. This exceptional offer complemented an extensive assortment of modern Rolexes and grilled meats for Bell na Nyama combos, ensuring every attendee experienced the ultimate beer and food pairing.

Lillian Kansiime Ssebunya, Brand Manager for Bell at Uganda Breweries, praised the Festival’s success saying,
“For Bell ObaFest this year, we set out to celebrate the richness of how Ugandans connect through our music, our food and games, all shared over our Bell Flavors. This finale was the perfect culmination of our journey, and we responsibly toast to all our partners and consumers for this wholesome and flavorful experience that has brought us all together today.”

From the entertainers, the main stage hosted a dynamic lineup of artists speaking to the flavorful sounds of Uganda’s current airwaves like Tai Dai, Dax Vibez, Kapeke, Vinka, Tracy Melon and a nod to the Habesha community with DJ Magic Touch & Real Kenie and DJ Yemi. The crowd was kept moving by sets from DJs including Roja, Vans, City Girl, and Eyo Mackus, before the live, headlining performances by Ray G in a night that was masterfully closed by DJ Bugy and Josh MC.

In a continued commitment to inclusivity, the stage presence for the day featured sign language interpreter Timina Wasike, who ensured the music and announcements were accessible to all, making the celebration truly for everyone. The commitment to ensuring everyone ended the day on a high note extended to SafeBoda’s discounted rides to and from the venue, ensuring a smooth and secure conclusion to a flawless festival.

Bell extends its deepest gratitude to the attendees, the incredible artists, and its invaluable partners Coca-Cola Beverages, Safe Boda, Stanbic FlexiPay, Swangz Avenue and Buzz Activate for their collective role in the nation’s biggest celebration of beer.
