Singer Joshua Baraka is set to take his song Morocco to the global stage with a remix featuring Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea.
The original track has already surpassed two million views on YouTube, cementing its place as one of Baraka’s biggest releases so far. Rumours of a collaboration between the two artists had been circulating for weeks, but Baraka has now made it official.
Taking to Instagram, the fast-rising star confirmed that the Morocco remix will be released on Friday, 13 February 2026. He shared the song’s artwork featuring Shenseea and captioned it: “FRIDAY 13.02.2026, WE UP.”
Fans online have welcomed the announcement with excitement, predicting a major international hit.
Shenseea is a Grammy-nominated Jamaican singer, songwriter and rapper who broke through with her 2016 hit Loodi. Known for blending dancehall with pop and hip-hop, she has collaborated with global stars such as Kanye West and Megan Thee Stallion, building a strong international presence.
Baraka, on the other hand, continues to rise as one of Uganda’s most promising talents. The singer, songwriter and producer is recognised for his unique sound, which fuses Afrobeat, R&B and dancehall.
