Content creator Isaac Katende, commonly known as Kasuku, is preparing for another chat with President Yoweri Museveni after his first appearance on Jazz with Jajja drew wide attention online.
Kasuku first featured on the president’s digital talk show on January 4. During that interview, Kasuku asked clear and direct questions about jobs for young people, the digital economy and technology. Many viewers said the discussion felt more serious than typical online content, and clips from the interview spread quickly on social media.
His appearance also highlighted a growing shift in political communication. Instead of relying only on traditional media, the government is now using online personalities to reach young audiences who follow current affairs through TikTok, YouTube and livestreams.
Kasuku will return for a second episode on March 1, this time at the president’s ranch in Kisozi. Although the location is more informal than State House, the format will remain the same, with Kasuku expected to ask direct questions.
He will be joined by fellow TikToker Publicity Natete, showing how digital creators are increasingly being given opportunities that were once reserved for mainstream journalists.
