Besigye and Bobi Wine can not liberate Uganda, it’s the irritated masses that have the power to effect change – Kato Lubwama

Lubaga South Member of Parliament, Hon. Kato Lubwama tipped Ugandans not only look up to their leaders as far as effecting the desired change is concerned.

Lubwama says Dr Kiiza Besigye and Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi can act as the face of change but the real gist to influence liberation belongs to the majority of Ugandans.

According to Lubwama, people who can make the revolution successful are not even politicians. He says they are mere civilians who are silently waiting for the ‘right’ time.

Lubwama gave the recent example of the mass protests that toppled Sudanese President Omar Bashir, he says Alaa Salah, a 22-year-old brave Sudanese woman that led the protests was a mere civilian that rose from nowhere. But managed to act as the driving force in the long walk to ousting Bashir who had ruled Sudan for three decades.
