The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will release the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results on 13 February at 11am.
The date was confirmed after a meeting held on 11 February at State House Nakasero between Education Minister and First Lady Janet Museveni and officials from UNEB and the Ministry of Education and Sports. The meeting, which began at about 2:30pm, focused on briefing the Minister about candidates’ performance ahead of the official results announcement.
A total of 432,025 candidates registered for the 2025 UCE examinations.
The UCE results will be the second set of national examination results to be released this year, following the earlier release of the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results.
This release also marks the first major assignment for the newly sworn-in 13-member UNEB governing board. The board, led by reappointed chairperson Prof. Celestino Obua, took office on Monday and is overseeing the second group of learners assessed under Uganda’s competency-based curriculum.
