Rich Gang members have disowned showy “tycoon” Katsha De Bank. The Rich Gang will be throwing a Spenders Made of Money theme party at Liquid Silk in Bugolobi tomorrow and they held a press conference to announce the event this afternoon.

The poster of the party that has been circulating had four South African moneymen, Ivan Semwanga, Ed Cheune, King Lawrence and Katsha De Bank.

However, at the press conference, Katsha was visibly absent. When asked why Katsha was not with them, King Lawrence was quick to note the he couldn’t keep up with the membership.

“To be part of the Rich Gang, you must be worth at least Shs1billion,” Ivan said, before Lawrence added that Katsha wasn’t financially solid enough to be part of them.

Just last week, Katsha posted a photo on his Facebook page, cleaning dollars from his swimming pool to imply that it was raining dollars at his house. We wonder if his rainy season is over.

Last Thursday, Katsha attended socialite Zari’s All White Cîroc Party while other rich gang members were visibly absent. Zari who has three children with Ivan was set to get married to the moneyed fellow only to start hanging with toy boys like Isaac Lugudde aka LK4, Pharoque Ssempala of recent Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz who was the main performer at the white party.

Naturally the rich gang members couldn’t attend a party where Diamond was all over the mother of their friend’s children, appearing smitten and kissing like love struck teenagers yet Katsha attended.

The party at Liquid Silk is going to be an open bar affair though entrance will be Shs35,000. Ivan says the proceeds from the gate collection will go towards charity.

With the entrance fee at only Shs35,000, we are sure Katsha will show up because he can at least keep up with $13.
