South African duo Mafikizolo that performed in Kampala last year has come out to condemn the ongoing xenophobic killings in South Africa.

“We always travel/perform outside SA, and we always receive a lot of love and great hospitality from our African brothers and Sisters, who treat us so well. Our political leaders were treated very well during our struggle for liberation, please let us not forget WE ARE ALL AFRICANS,and WE ARE ALL FOREIGNERS SOMEWHERE ,We are against XENOPHOBIA,and we love our African Brothers and Sisters,” band member Theo said.

“Stop xenophobia, no to xenophobia. We are all Africans.”

South Africa gangs in the townships have attacked foreigners, accusing them of taking their jobs. Several people have lost their lives and business have been looted in the ongoing xenophobic attacks.
