eddy kenzo2[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Sunday June 28, Eddy Kenzo could make history as the first Ugandan artiste to bring home a BET award.

Kenzo was nominated in a new category, the Viewer’s Choice “Best International” category and he is up against South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, the United Kingdom’s MIC Lowry, George the Poet and Novelist and Ghana’s Mz Vee.

Thanks to a big social media campaign that even other celebrities have jumped on to vote their own, Kenzo is leading the pack and he could lift the trophy if the votes keep coming.

“Brothers and sisters I thank you all for the support you are rendering to me and we being blessed that we are still leading and please don’t stop voting, keep voting and commenting on all social networks , Instagram , Twitter and Facebook @BET_Intel & BET_ Africa by commenting on my post ‪#‎ipickeddy you can vote as many times as you can and even re-post my picture back…And I assure you my people that with God everything is possible Omanyi mukama ayamba yeyambye so tufilewo ,” Kenzo said.

Meanwhile, South Africa’s Kasper Nyovest on realising he was 4,000 votes behind Kenzo, he called on his fans to vote for him to bridge the gap. Let’s keep voting Kenzo to bring the award home.
