During his stint at the Coke Studio last year, singer Maurice Kirya had the opportunity to record with American R&B sensation Ne-Yo. Maurice was part of a collaboration titled Reason which Ne-Yo recorded with African stars Dama, Alikiba, Wangechi and Ice Prince.

We’ve learnt Ne-Yo and Maurice did so much more than Reason, as the Never Been Loved singer told us he will be dropping another duet he penned with Ne-Yo.

“We penned a song together and it’s been in production all this long, but those are some of the surprises my fans should expect at my concert,” Maurice said. Maurice will hold the ‘Kirya Live’ concert on Friday July 29 at Kampala Serena Hotel and unlike several musicians that made it a habit to hold a mega concert each year, Maurice says he will continue his arrangement to hold a concert at least every after two years.
