Opposition leader Dr. Kiiza Besigye is today planning to join Kampala street vendors in protest of being stopped from selling  along the city streets on orders of Kampala City Affairs minister Beti Kamya.

The  vendors according to Kamya were kicked off the streets  to reduce congestion in the city.

\
Besigye who returned from a working tour in U.S  on Saturday, together with Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and other political actors are set to mobilize street vendors to stage  a demonstration saying vending is their only source of livelihood.

However, Police spokesperson Felix Kaweesi cautioned the public not to be misled by people whose agenda is to cause  the breach of peace in the city.
