On record Cranes has  faced Ivory Coast twice attaining one draw and losing the other.

Cranes has played two major competitive friendly games, losing the first one 2-0 against Tunisia. But they bounced back from the defeat by winning 3-1 against European side Slovakia. After today’s game, Cranes will jet off to Gabon, Port Gentil.
