Aruu MP Odonga Otto is a man of many talents. For many who were wondering why he was not at the Kanyamunyu trial today, Hon. Odonga Otto was leading Cranes’ fans in Port Gentil Stadium.

The youthful MP was clad in Cranes colours and embraced the unifying spirit of football as he cheered on the Cranes who made their return to the continental football showpiece only to be denied by the 32nd minute penalty.

Thanks to Odonga Otto’s patriotic cheers, Uganda Cranes were close to an equaliser as Farouk Miya was denied by the bar 4 four minutes to the close of first half. In the second half, Uganda Cranes were too hot to contain but failed to hit the back of the net.

The first half defensive error by Isaac Isinde handed Ghana undeserved victory over Cranes. Ghana won the game 1-0 as West Ham’s Ayew slotted in the penalty kick sending Onyango in opposite direction.

Odonga Otto is also the captain of Uganda parliament football team.
