Imagine waking up an instant millionaire or better still imagine receiving a phone that your account has bee credited with Shs. 70m! Well some of you might have received these messages but from fraudsters! Those who received real messages revealed how they reacted!

Yesterday URA officials again appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on Commission of Statutory Authority and State Enterprises chaired by Bugweri MP Abdu Katuntu and continued their interrogation on all URA officials about the Shs6b presidential Handshake.
One beneficiary of the handshake Moses Kibumba cracked the ribs as he explained his ordeal.

“I was happy when I was in my village and I was remembered”, Kibumba stated. Kibumba’s account was wired with a whopping amount of Shs73m. This miracle money made Kibumba to write a will though verbally, “I told my family when I die, they must put a Uganda flag on my grave”, he narrated.

But when asked about his role in the case, Kibumba told the committee that he played no role in the winning of the case. “On two occasions I was chased out of the meeting by the Chairperson, they did not want small people like me in the meeting” he confidently told the committee.
Another rib cracking confession came from Annet Bazaliraka who got Shs53m. When asked about her role in the case, she had no slight fears of saying “I just escorted my bosses to the court seating.”
