The East Africa Legislative Assembly, that is the parliament for East African Community is right now the talk in political circles. Reason? Elections. Yes, Ugandans willing to represent their parties at the regional parliament are picking forms, campaigning and some.

NRM Parliamentary Caucus has today met at the State House, Entebbe ahead of EALA elections. Before the voting, Museveni addressed the Caucus, briefing them on what will be expected from the members who will make it to the EALA.

“Elections to the East African Parliament are not meant to give jobs to unemployed people. These elections are a serious matter. It is about electing people who know what is involved in integration” said Museveni.
