Pepsi unveils UEFA Champions League “Under The Crown” promotion

Yesterday Uganda’s oldest soft drinks company, Crown Beverages Limited (CBL) the bottlers of Pepsi, Mirinda and Mountain Dew launched an under the crown promotion in partnership with the UEFA champions league.

The promotion will give Pepsi consumers a chance to win instant airtime, flat screen TV sets, radios, smart phones for the next three months.



Speaking at the launch of the promotion, Mr Paddy Muramiirah, the CEO Crown Beverages Limited stated that the promotion is very important to the company because it gives them an oppourtunity to appreciate their loyal customers.

“Giving back to our customers has continued to be at the heart of all CBL’s operations. This has set us apart in the market in which we operate”, Muramiirah stated.

According to Mr. Brandon Ssemanda the Head of Marketing, Crown Bewerages will hold over 50 activations across the country with the aim of bringing the UEFA stadium feel to the people.

The mood was set alive at Rivonia suites Bugolobi as revelers partied the night away. “Uganda’s super football fans eat, sleep and drink football. With these activations we shall ensure that they get the once in a life time chance to enjoy the true football experience”, he stated.

Crown Bewerages Limited, through its various brands supports various sports in the country including football, golf, motorcross, cricket and volleyball.
