Roast and Rhyme story tellers’ edition on this Sunday

Roast and Rhyme is back this weekend with this one named the “Story Tellers” edition. The event will be held on Sunday July 2nd at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo. The line-up will feature performances from Ykee Benda, Naava Grey, Kenneth Mugabi and Janzi Band.

Roast and Rhyme is billed as a family day out by the lakeside with great acoustic music and meat roasting, meant to be enjoyed in the company of friends or family. The event happens quarterly and all music performances are usually live and instrumental, to give an acoustic feel.

Previous editions have featured artists like Irene Ntale, Tonics, Benon and Vamposs, Kenneth Mugabi, Bebe Cool, to mention but a few.

Event organizers, Swangz Avenue have this time hinted at a surprise entertainment act, on top of the already revealed event line-up.

As an extra incentive for party people to show up early, Bell Lager and Swangz Avenue will give each guest who arrives before 3p.m. a free meat coupon and a 4 pack of Bell Lager. Gates open at noon and as usual, tickets are being sold for UGX50k only.
