PJ Powers performs at the Jabulani concert.

Veteran South African singer PJ Powers brought down the house at her Jubulani charity concert held at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday night.

The singer behind hits like Jabulani, Home To Africa, There’s An Answer and others got the VIP guests including Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga on their feet with her infectious South African vibes.

Revellers dance to PJ Powers’ tunes.

Powers who lost her mother a week to the concert didn’t cancel it to mourn because it was for a good cause; to raise funds for Girl Up Initiative, a charity that supports disadvantaged girls stay in school so they can thrive and succeed in life.
