After six years in the music industry, singer Geosteady “came of age” yesterday night in grand fashion! By 8pm, as curtain raisers were warming up the fans, the hotel staff at Imperial Royale were busy looking for ways  to add more seats to accommodate the fans making their way to the venue in big numbers.

With a live band setting, Geosteady took the stage at around 10pm. He serenaded the crowd with his soft lovey-dovey vibes that created an intimate atmosphere throughout his performances as he took the fans through his music catalogue. His performances cushioned the high energy that characterised the guest performers.

Guest performers like Fik Fameica,  Fille, King Saha, B2C, and Rwanda’s DJ Pius ushered in high energy with their performances. “Byenyenya” by Fameica, “Gundeze” by Saha and “Guntamiza” by B2C had the crowd on their feet.

But it was Geosteady’s day for the taking! He brought Lydia Jazmine for “Same Way” duet then “Owoona” ft. Rwandan singing duo Charly & Nina brought in more romantics. At one moment he brought out his dad on stage for the father-son moment given that his dad had earlier disapproved of his career choice. The romantics ruled the night that was capped off with his arguably breakthrough single “Viola” way past midnight with crowd still yearning for more!
