Murder suspect Mathew Kanyamunyu released on bail

High Court judge Wilson Kwesiga has granted murder suspect Mathew Kanyamunyu bail this afternoon. The prime suspect in the death of Kenneth Akena was granted a Shs10m cash bail.

This was Kanyamunyu’s fourth bail application after he was denied bail in three previous times. He presented five sureties who were bonded Shs10m. He also availed tenancy agreement of his abode at Royal Palm Estate and introductory letters from landlord and L.C1 chairperson.
