Kasese MP Winnie Kizza returns Shs29m age limit consultation fund

Kasese district woman Member of Parliament Hon. Winnie Kizza has returned the 29 million given to each MP for conducting consultative meeting in their consconstituencies about age limit bill.

She explained that the money was intended to act as a “bribe” to compromise MPs against constitutional amendment.

This brings the number MPs who have returned the money to 11. The MPs who have so far returned the money include Mr Nganda (Kiira Municipality), Ms Angeline Osegge (Soroti Woman), Mr William Nzoghu ( Busongora North), Mr Moses Kasibante (Rubaga North), Butambala County MP Mohammad Muwanga Kivumbi, Mr Robert Kyagulanyi (Kyadondo East) and Busiro East MP Medard Segona.
