Comedian Mc Mariachi is fond of cracking tribal jokes, but this time the joke was on him. The comedian always makes fun of Basoga, painting them as daft so it was payback time when he went to Kamuli to be introduced to the family of his fiancé Lydia Bogere this Thursday.

Emcees on the bride to be’s side quizzed Mariachi about why he wanted to make a woman from Busoga his wife yet he is always ‘dissing’ them.

“Comedy is the way I make money to make your daughter looking good and happy,” Mariachi replied sending the guests into laughter.

He also said he is taking a woman from the east for “regional balance.” We guess that means to dilute the slow gene.

Either way, congratulations are in order.
