Following a week of international football, clubs return to action this weekend for the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Five fixtures are lined up for Friday and Saturday, and it is the tie between giants KCCA FC and ‘aspiring powerhouse’ Onduparaka FC that will headline the weekend’s action.

Onduparaka who have so far gathered maximum points in their opening two games host KCCA who fired blanks in their second game of this campaign.

Onduparaka lies third on the log with six points while KCCA on four is positioned seventh. The long trip to Arua has not been easy for Mike Mutebi’s Kasasiro boys in the past and they have never picked maximum points at the Green Light stadium.

Their two previous encounters at the ground have seen Onduparaka register a win and a draw. Onduparaka also have the advantage of having retained all their players during the international break while KCCA has had five players on Cranes duty such as Saddam Juma, Timothy Awany, Patrick Kaddu, Allan Kyambadde and goalkeeper Charles Lukwago.

In other games, winless SC Villa visit impressive Bright Stars, Mbarara City host Maroons while defending champions SC Vipers play Nyamityobora at St Mary’s Stadium.
