Vipers travel to Jinja on a high as they edge closer to claiming UPL title

Uganda Premier League summit toppers, Vipers Sports Club  is today traveling to Bugembe for their third last league fixture against Kirinya Jinja SS at the Kyabazinga Stadium.

The Venom leave on a high as they have gone 15 games unbeaten in the league 13 wins and two draws.

However, this does not make them any better as they are still in hunt for points that will claim them this season’s title. Their last visit at the Kyabazinga stadium ended in 1-0 win in favour of the hosts but this season the Kitende based side won 2-0 in their first encounter.

Vipers are five points off second placed SC Villa while Jinja SS is 5th on the log. In the other games, third placed and defending champions KCCA FC will play host to relegation threatened Proline FC in the Lugogo derby at the StarTimes Stadium. Both sides have no room for error if they are to keep their respective dreams alive. URA FC also plays struggling Masavu FC.
