The moon was finally sighted last evening marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. As the fasting period comes to a close, various muslims and other celebrities have joined the world to celebrate the big day in Islam faith.

Taking to social media, they have conveyed several messages and wishes; perhaps what they were praying for during this holy month.


Eddy Kenzo congratulated Muslims upon completing the fasting period.

Ssalongo Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago took the twins to the mosque as they prayed for the security issues in Uganda.

NBS TV’s Mildred Tuhaise sent her message to muslim fraternity; ”eid mubarak to the muslim community”.


Faridah Nakazibwe posted, “Eid Mubarak Eid !!!!. May Allah accept our fasting. Amen”.
