Breaking News: Bobi Wine, detained MPs released on bail, Wadri barred from Arua Municipality for three months

Bobi Wine and 11 others including detained colleagues; Paul Mwiru, Gerald Karuhanga, Mike Mabikke, Kassiano Wadri and others have been granted bail.

In the ruling, Arua MP-elect Kassiano Wadri has been barred from Arua Municipality, which is the scene of the alleged crime for three months to allow investigations into the matter.

Also, High Court judge Stephen Mubiru stated that Wadri’s presence could antagonize the security situation in Arua. In case of a pressing need for Wadri to be at his constituency, he has to seek court permission.

Bobi Wine and the 11 others were bonded a non-cash bail of Shs5m. They will be expected in court on August, 30.
