Following a press statement confirming that former president of the Forum for Democratic Change party Major General Mugisha Muntu has quit the party, a section of the public attacked him for being a traitor to the opposition.

Current affairs analyst, Tamale Mirundi has come out in defense of Mugisha Muntu saying he is one of a few honest politician.

“People may say whatever they want about him but Mugisha Muntu is very respectful and honest,” Tamale stated.

According to Tamale, the retired general has similar strategies like Besigye but what differentiates them is that one is violent and another is a round-table man.

“Have you ever seen Mugisha Muntu abusing the army he once commanded, he even never abuse the president. Mugisha Muntu is a capable leader.” Tamale stated

Tamale also revealed that, if Mugisha Muntu joins forces with Bobi Wine, they are capable of dominating the opposition and tipped him for being president
