Youngster Allan Okello to fly to Swiss club FC Zurich for greener pastures, KCCA FC expected to pocket about Shs3 billion

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club youngster, Allan Okello is set to travel for greener pastures in Europe. The promising superstar completed the 2018/2019 Uganda Premier League season with six goals and his team emerged winners.

Sources indicate that the left-footed playmaker will on Sunday fly out to Switzerland ahead of his week-long trials with Football Club Zurich that plays in the topflight of Switzerland Super League.

 KCCA FC management is currently keeping the negotiations inside their ‘closet. However a source within the club revealed that once all talks go as predicted, the club will pocket $800000 (about Shs3 billion) from the transfer.

Okello is on national duty with Uganda Cranes team that is preparing for the COSAF CUP, a tournament organized by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations scheduled for next month. He is expected to miss the tournament if the transfer deal goes through.

The KCCA youngster has achieved a lot in the past three years since he burst onto the footballing scene . In 2016-17 he won the Young Player of the gong while in 2017-18 he was named in the Airtel FUFA Best Eleven and also voted as the Airtel FUFA Fans’ favorite player.
