A huge blow has hit the Uganda Cranes camp that is in intense preparations ahead of the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt. News reaching us indicates that the reigning Airtel FUFA Player of the year and Soccer Club Vipers midfield maestro Moses Waiswa will not be part of the final 23-man squad that will play in Egypt due to injury.

“The technical team has confirmed the player will not take any part further in the camp in Abu Dhabi following medical assessments of the injury,” FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein confirmed the news.

Hussein said plans are underway to organise his travel back home for further treatment and recovery of the injury.
