The CBA Uganda Vintage and Classic Auto show is back

It’s again that time of the year when we announce the CBA Uganda Vintage and Classic Auto Show. Now in its 8th edition, the event promises to be bigger and better as organizers are this year adding new twists to spice it up.

Dr. John Baptist Niwagaba, the Uganda Vintage and Classic Auto Show Proprietor made the revelation during the official launch of this year’s edition which was held at Sheraton Hotel.

As has been the tradition, the show is scheduled to take place on Saturday July 27, 2019 at Sheraton Hotel Kampala gardens.

“This year the show will run under the theme “Love of the Machine” to celebrate and reward the growing love for vintage restoration within Uganda and the rest of East Africa.”  Nuwagaba said.

 “In line with our theme, this year we will reward not only winning cars but also garages and mechanics who keep these gems on the road.” Nuwagaba further revealed

This love edition will also introduce a split of Category one to honor best pickup and Van separately. The theme dress code for this event will be ‘auto inspired wear’.

Speaking at the launch, CBA Bank CEO Anthony Ndegwa, noted that the bank is passionate about the car show because it is a space where the bank interacts with its clients and public in a fun-filled environment. He acknowledged the tremendous work done by Uganda Vintage team, pledging to support event for the foreseeable future.

The CBA Uganda Vintage and Classic Auto show 2019 edition will be a family show with tickets goings for Shs 25,000 for adults and Shs 20,000 for children. The best dressed people will walk away with lots of prizes.
