If you know the whereabouts of FUFA President, Moses Magogo as of Friday morning, count yourself lucky! Things have fast changed from the jovial mood when the Cranes made it to the last 16 of the AFCON Finals to #PayUgandaCranesAllowances.

This was after the players failed to turn up for a training session citing the failure by the Ugandan Football Federation to remit their allowances for the new phase of the tourney as agreed. The plays are threatening to sit out the knockout game with Senegal on Friday if FUFA remains hesitant to release their allowances.

Ugandans woke up to this impasse on Friday morning and have already started a campaign to force Magogo and team who also are in Egypt to pay the players’ allowances lest the send the entire FUFA team packing from FUFA House.

The campaign led by Vision Group CEO, Robert Kabushenga has sent Magogo panicking and as you read this, a statement has already been released saying that players only owed FUFA Shs55m that has already been paid to zero balance.

But Ugandans are having none of this. A hashtag #PayUgandaCranesAllowances is trending No.1 and from the ears on the ground in Egypt. Magogo has not been seen living large as has been the case in the previous days.

To All UOT: Our demand is simple. #PayUgandaCranesAllowances! Let us speak out. Let the whole world know we stand with .@UgandaCranes on their pay. When U tweet today, add this??hashtag. If @OfficialFUFA ignores this, no wearing jersey on Friday! And cancel their citizenship

Maama, @JanetMuseveni , Speaker @RebeccaKadaga our players declined to trained yesterday because of their bonuses. @OfficialFUFA has not come out to clarify, before we know, we start to hear allageations of match fixing. #PayUgandaCranesAllowances pic.twitter.com/01djRYznes

FUFA says it owes Cranes no money & that they are striking out of greed. Forgive my bias, but I believe the players over Magogo. Was conditioned not to trust the judgement of an old man that runs around with young girls. #PayUgandaCranesAllowances

These guys @UgandaCranes are pushing themselves over their limits for the good of our country, It is very unfair to deny them their earned privileges over selfish benefits. #PayUgandaCranesAllowances pic.twitter.com/K8WWhNdpXp

Come on @OfficialFUFA !! What in the self-sabotaging shenanigans is this?! #PayUgandaCranesAllowances . Our lads can't have come this far only to deal with such. Do better.

So you guys are telling me @OfficialFUFA had money to fly their officials to Egypt & watch the entire #AFCON2019 but they don't have $6k to #PayUgandaCranesAllowances?
