After ‘juicy’ singer Winnie Nwagi was accused of appearing indecent at St. Mary’s College Kisubi and forced to apologize, the Anti-Pornography Control Committee Chairperson, Dr Annette Kezaabu has urged female artistes to clean up their morals while appearing before the public.

Kezaabu said most of the local artistes breach cultural and religious norms of the Ugandan society hence affecting morals and upbringing of children who treasure them as their role models.

“Artistes should decide on what they’re selling, music or bodies,” Kezaabu stated.

Kezaabu advised artistes to try and match singer Juliana Kanyomozi’s personality that she believes is very elegant.

She further said that individuals should not hide behind their false claims that the committee wants them to only put on ‘gomesi.’

“My favourite artiste in Uganda is Juliana and I always go for her concerts. Juliana’s good music and voice just complement her decent dress code,” she said.
