During his address yesterday on Sunday at the International Motocross Race event at Busiika Motocross Arena (BMA), an event which was organised to appreciate the work done by the Armed forces to keep Uganda safe and secure, Chief of Defence Forces Gen David Muhoozi, said it is on rare occasions that the public come out publicly to appreciate the army.

Muhoozi said; “We are even more energised and our morale is high to see private entities coming up to appreciate us. We rarely get such events to honour us. On behalf of all Armed forces, I say thank you and aluta continua.”

Muhoozi said besides their mandated duty of ensuring that Uganda is safe for everyone, overtime the force has invested a lot in supporting talents of its officers in various sports disciplines.
