The lengthy court battle between the family and friends of fallen singer Moses Sekibogo alias Mowzey Radio is soon ending.

Today morning, Entebbe High Court found Godfrey ‘Troy’ Wamala guilty of manslaughter that claimed Radio’s life on February 1, 2018.

Prosecution contends that Troy beat up Radio on the night of January 22, 2018 outside De Bar night club in Entebbe and inflicted on him severe injuries which finally took his life on a few days later on February 1, 2018.

In her ruling, Justice Jane Abodo said that Troy directly linked himself to the scene of crime when he admitted he was present when the incident happened, although he had earlier denied ever touching the musician on the fateful night of January 22.

Court has set Thursday October 31, 2019 as the date it will pass Troy’s sentence for manslaughter, and according to Uganda’s Penal Code, manslaughter carries a maximum of life in prison.
