Ministry of Health has today discharged three patients of COVID-19 after they fully recovered from the disease. The three patients have tested negative of the pandemic after several tests hence the Ministry confirmed they are now free to go back to their respective areas of residence.

“Patients of COVID-19 spend a long time in the hospital and the ones we are discharging today have spent 21 days. It takes time for the viral load to go down and that is why we are working hard to see that we don’t have an epidemic blowing out of proportion, Health Minister Dr Ruth Aceng said.

The public has been eager to know the identity of the individuals that have braved the journey in defeating the virus. However, Dr Aceng has revealed it will not be possible for the population to know their identity as they did not sign the consent forms.
