Watchman Ministries Pastor Joseph Kabuleta is continuing to validate his decision to join the presidential race ahead of the forthcoming general election.

While appearing on NBS TV’s Faceoff show, the presidential aspirant said he is in the race to represent serious issues affecting majority Ugandans. He said his new venture is a ‘calling’ that is backed by God’s blessing and he’s sure of winning incumbent President Yoweri Museveni.

“A calling is a real thing. Even for journalism, it was a calling. About me kissing someone’s shoes, people should know that my faith is personal. It is between me and God. However, what I bring on the political table is not personal. It is between me and the people of Uganda,” Kabuleta said.

Kabuleta said he does not need everyone’s vote to win Museveni as those who are tired of exploitation are enough to lead him to the country’s top office.

“I want to become president based on what I bring on the table as opposed to what is between me and God. People should understand that what is of interest to one may not be of interest to other people. I am seeking power in a way that does not manipulate people,” he said.

On Wednesday, Kabuleta joined the growing list of candidates vowing ‘retire’ Museveni in 2021 presidential election. Kabuleta will be running for President on the Financial Liberation ticket which he says will ensure equitable distribution of resources God blessed Uganda with.
