With elections a stone throw away and different contenders declaring their intentions to run for the 2021 elections, renowned musician Allan Toniks has requested checking the Intelligence quotient (IQs) of Members of Parliament as a criteria for them joining the August House.

This comes after Makindye west Member of parliament Hon. Allan Ssewanyana’s gave out ludo board games to youth in his constituency; a move Tonix says promotes gambling.

Tonix shared a screenshot of X-FM’s tweet and captioned it with his dismay.

“Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh (In Brian White voice) at this rate, we need IQ tests for MPs. The bar should be raised,” Toniks tweeted

Other critics have also mocked Hon. Ssewanyana’s act saying he is promoting gambling and idleness among the youth in his constituency.

To support his actions, Ssewanyana said he gave board games because ludo is a way of making the youth creative.
