Following Hon. Latif Ssebagala’s revelation of quitting the Kampala Mayor race despite been given the National Unity Platform party (NUP) ticket for the 2021 Kampala Lord Mayor, Jose Chameleone’s supporters have gained momentum and promised to support him in all ways.

The Uganda Musicians Association President and singer Ykee Benda has pledged to support Jose Chameleone for Kampala Mayor even if he is not educated as the NUP electoral committee claimed while refusing to give him a party card.

According to Ykee Benda, the educated and elite have for long time not made any changes in Kampala and he believes it is the right time for Jose Chameleone to take over Kampala.

Ykee Benda went ahead and warned those who think they can change him by using Chameleone’s past to stop dreaming.

Ykee said Kampala needs a person like Jose Chameleone to change and looks better

“We need change for Kampala. And don’t talk to me about his past’” Ykee Benda added.
