With less than 30 days left to the polling date slated for January 14, the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has embarked on door to door mobilization in the villages across the country.

The mobilization is intended to continue securing votes for their presidential candidate President Yoweri Museveni and NRM flag bearers at all elective positions.

“This is the kunyweza strategy where the 48 NRM village leaders per village will lead the campaign in their respective villages,” says NRM Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba.

Museveni will not be campaigning today. He’s slated to lecture students from the National Defence College, Kenya at his Rwakitura country home. Tomorrow, he will preside over National Thanksgiving Prayers. He’ll return to the trail on Saturday in Kabale.
