Watchman Ministries Pastor Joseph Kabuleta has joined the growing list of candidates vowing to take up the country’s top office in the forthcoming general election.

Kabuleta will be running for President on the Financial Liberation ticket which he says will ensure equitable distribution of resources God blessed Uganda with.

“Uganda is blessed in the air with a friendly climate and incredible weather; blessed on the ground with half of East Africa’s arable land and blessed beneath the ground with rich extractives which include 27 different minerals spawned across the country in commercially viable quantities, as well as billions of barrels of explored oil with a lot more to be explored,” Kabuleta said while announcing his presidential bid.

Kabuleta’s announcement of his intent to stand comes almost a week after he sued the Electoral Commission (EC) over the recently released revised roadmap for 2021 elections that banned political rallies.

Kabuleta first came to the limelight during his stint as a sports writer, however, he is popularly remembered when he kissed Prophet Elvis Mbonye’s shoes in 2017. His rants against the first family have also made him popular as they once landed him into prison.
