Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) strongman, Dr Kizza Besigye has finally revealed that he will not be standing for Presidency in the forthcoming elections. Besigye was speaking to FDC party supporters at their headquarters in Najjanakumbi.

Besigye said that FDC has many capable leaders that can competitively carry the party flag. He said he’s now ready to push the struggle from another front.

“To be a good leader, you have to be flexible in the way you approach issues. I will not be in the race for President but I will actively participate in the struggle,” Besigye said before adding that their enemy (NRM government) had mastered the art of suppressing him in an election and now he will be unleashing new tactics.
