Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga is amongst hundreds of Member of Parliament that have been nominated on the first day of the two-day exercise of nomination of parliamentary candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Kadaga has been nominated in Kamuli where she vowed to not only defend his Kamuli Seat but also remain Speaker for the third term.

“I’ve been nominated as a candidate for the Kamuli Woman MP seat. I will also vie for Parliamentary Speakership because we as Basoga and Easterners have a stake in national governance. As MP, I’ll struggle for three key roads, which snake thru other districts and growing of avocado,” Kadaga said.
