It’s strange how Police has forced me back home, the nomination was supposed to conclude by us going through the streets of Kampala waving at our supporters—Amuriat

What was supposed to be Forum For Democratic Change flag bearer Patrick Amuriat’s Presidential nomination day turned into a no shoe day for him.

From being whisked to the nomination centre in Kyambogo to being forced back home, Amuriat has expressed his displeasure in how Police has handled him today.

Before being forced home, the defiant Presidential candidate was given an ultimatum of either going home or getting arrested. He later gave in to the Police pressure and headed home where he addressed the media
