The ministry of health yesterday afternoon received a donation of 100,000 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine from the Government of India Flag of India.

The vaccines were received by the ministry of health officials led by the Health Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng. Speaking to the media shortly after receiving the vaccine, said that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will remain in place even after vaccination.

“You should stop complacency even after getting the Covid-19 vaccine because you can still fall sick after being vaccinated. But the only thing is that you may not be put on oxygen as it is the case now,” she said.
