News coming in indicates that Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Edward Sebuufu aka Eddie Mutwe and his singing partner Buken Ali aka Nubian Li have been transferred to Makindye Military barracks prison.

Mutwe and Nubian Li were not amongst the 46 supporters and campaign team members of Bobi Wine that were released on Thursday by the Masaka Chief Magistrate Charles Yeteise.

The duo was not produced before court prompting Yeteise to issue criminal summons against the officer in charge of Masaka Ssaza government prison, Mr Henry Kidega where they have been detained for the past weeks to explain to the court why some suspects who were granted bail were not produced in the court.

Just like other suspects that were arrested in Kalangala from Bobi Wine’s campaign trail, Mutwe and Nubian Li are facing charges of inciting violence, blocking officers carrying out lawful orders and also did a negligent act likely to spread an infectious disease.

Yesterday, security agencies arrested other members of Kyagulanyi campaign team in eastern Uganda as he was on his way from Mbale to Namayingo.
