On Friday the arrest of the unapologetic NBS TV host over defamation made rounds on different social media platforms and media outlets with some journalists from the entertainment sector trending the free Kayz hashtag.

The Uganda musicians association President Cinderella Sanyu popularly known as Cindy Sanyu the King herself, has broken silence on the matter through her Instagram page.

“Good morning world, i have got so much respect for this man Os Suna For having the balls to do what most artists are scared to do. Character assassination and defamation is a real crime and if dialog fails then the law should take over. Power to you man. Suna always you just made history and I am proud to know you, may God bless you,” Cindy posted.

Cindy is not the first popular person to comment on Os Suna Kaiyz case on Saturday Dembe FM ‘Talk and Talk show co-host Edward Sendi came out and asked Ugandan media houses to boycott all Suna’s music.

Suna dragged the Next Media Services employees Kawalya Isaac alias Kaiyz, Brian Wako and Williams Makko to courts of law over defamation and character assassination.
The journalists were remanded by Buganda Road Magistrates Court on Friday and will be behind bars until 15th October, 2021.
