Joseph Aredo has been nothing short of phenomenal in the rugby circles as he has blessed the game with his silky skills.

Aredo has had a series of masterclass displays in the ongoing Guinness 7s series. The final circuit is slated for this weekend at Legends. The circuit will be hosted by Kobs.

Matooke Republic sat down with Aredo and he answered the questions you have been asking for.

I also played for Uganda Rugby Cranes XV’s from 2012 to 2015 and was capped 13 times. To add to that, I have been playing for Uganda 7s from 2016-to date.

Besides rugby, which other sport did you try out?

Football, badminton & volleyball.

Which people do you thank for your rugby career?

My Family, the coaches I have had over the years, and my teammates (class, school, club & country)

What is your best and worst moment as a rugby player?

Best; first Elgon cup at legends
Worst: losing the schools league

Who is the best player you have played with and why?

Eden Agero at Harlequins, he is unpredictable, cheeky, precise, and enjoys what he does.

Who is the hardest opponent you have faced?

Philip Wokorach

The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you on the pitch?

??? I guess knocking on.

Women always flood rugby games for ‘strategic’ reasons. How many DMs do you receive?
