Parliament will today resume its plenary sittings after a brief suspension following the Tuesday twin bomb explosions in Kampala that happened along Parliamentary Avenue and outside the Central Police Station.

Parliamentary Avenue has been closed since Tuesday with security forensic experts analyzing and picking evidence from the scene. However, the road was reopened last evening.

Business is set to return to normal today as MPs and staff will be allowed to access Parliament amidst tight security measures.
