Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has revealed the last words Speaker Jacob Oulanyah said to her before he died on Sunday, at the age of 56. Oulanyah died in Seattle, USA, where he had been hospitalized for a month.

“I miss putting on my bow tie, I miss putting on my suit, and I miss going through the rules of procedure,” Oulanyah reportedly told Among.

Last week, Among together with Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo and Democratic Party President Norbert Mao, they visited Oulanyah on his sickbed in the USA.
