An aircraft belonging to Rwanda Air this morning veered off the runway on landing at Entebbe International Airport.

According to a statement issued by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, the incident happened at 5:31 am as a Rwanda Air CRJ 9 aircraft, flight number 464, skidded off the runway. The CAA says the veering off was caused by bad weather.

Exclusive information reaching us indicates that the plane was carrying tens of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s guests. Muhoozi’s 48th birthday celebrations are slated for this week at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
